Show C. L Parker Dies in lis Office Vice-President Colorado Fuel and Iron Company Is Victim of Heart Disease. CINCINNATI, Nov. 16 C. A. Parker, aged 45 years, second vice-president of the Cincinnati, Hamilton & Dayton, and vice-president of tho Pere Marquette Mar-quette railroad, died suddenly ln his ofP.ce In the Carew building here today. The cause of death is thought to have been heart disease. He came to this city last month from Denver. He was vice-president of the Colorado Fuel and Iron company at Denver. Mr. Parker Is very well known ln Utah, as prior to his work with the Colorado Fuel and Iron company he was commissioner of the railroad associations associa-tions at Denver. Prior to that he was freight trafilc manager of the Missouri Mis-souri Pacific, and for years was with the great Santa Fe system. Mr. Parker had Just accepted the position of vice-president vice-president of the Great Central Route under Russell Harding, and it was thought that S. J. Henry would' become his chief clerk. His friends will deeply regret hl9 sudden death Just as he was about to enter upon the most auspicious chapter in his railroad life. He was accounted one of the best traffic men in the West. |
