Jan. 9 Judge William H Hunt In the I'nlted Stales court hero today overruled the demurrers of the defendants de-fendants to the Indictments In tho cases of the United States against R. M. Cobban. Cob-ban. J. B. Cattlln and many others for subornation of perjury and perjury fg connection with timber land entries In Western Montana, nnd the accused will now have to come on for trial. There are twelve Indictments for subornation subor-nation of perjury and ninety for perjury. Included In the defendants are many set tiers In Powell and Missoula counties, who are alk-god to have made false oath In proving up on their timber lands which were afterwards acquired by Senator W.
