Show GETS CONTRACT FOR MINE CRUSHERS To Robert Glendinnlng, the resident representative of the AUls-Chalmers company, was yesterday awarded the contract for the three big Blake crushers crush-ers with which the Newhouse mlne In Beaver county are to be equipped, the delivery of tho machines to be made in the next ninety days. The crushers, which have a capacity for reducing re-ducing 2000 tone of ore dally, will be placed at the mouth of the main tunnel through which the wealth of the New-house New-house mines will pour into the railway cars that await It, the equipment to cost the company about $20,000, paid Manager Bettles yesterday. Tho awarding of this contract leaves but few In the large Hat Included In the construction of the plant through which 1800 tons will pobs dally, and which tho management hopes to have In commission commis-sion in October. It will, on completion, comple-tion, represent an outlay of about $300.-000, $300.-000, while the water service with which It is to be supplied has incurred an expense ex-pense of over $200,000. Mr. Bogue of the Mines and Smelter Supply company, who on Thursday received re-ceived the contract for forty TVIlfley tables, and Mr. Glendinnlng are both receiving the congratulations of friends, as the rivalry over the contracts was tropically acute. |
