Show DALY-JUDGE'S POLICY. Shut-Down of Mill to Be Followed by Vigorous Prospecting. TRIBUNE SPECIAL. Park City, Jan. 20. J. J. Daly, president presi-dent of the Daly-Judgo Mining company, said yesterday that tho expected shutdown shut-down of the Daly-Judge mill will take place about February 1st. The Interval between now and then will give amplo tlmo to clean up tho oro stopcH and bins. According to Mr. Daly, tho Daly-Jtidgm Mining company employs about 250 men and about 200 will bo laid off at the mill and mine. About fifty men will be retained re-tained at tho mine for prospecting work Quito a number of drifts and bores will be projected Into tho new territory, whlcn tho company officers bcllovo contains deposits de-posits of hlgh-grado ore. Explorations will lead Into the Bonanza Flat country, which has given promise of fuhulous wealth. Mr. Daly said that the mill was not being be-ing closed down on account of any dissatisfaction dis-satisfaction with tho present managemont, as tho work Is entirely satisfactory, but for tho purposo of employing the present resources to transform the property from Its present status as a low-grado producer pro-ducer Into one of bettor grade. Tho laying off of 200 men In this camp will bo to some degree offset by the starting start-ing up of tho Ontario concentrator, which Managor Bood says will occur before tho end of the week. This.
