Show A STORY OF MILLIONS Sensational Growth of Cen-iennial's Cen-iennial's Wealtli. SOME NEW DISCLOSURES Fortunes Added In tha Last Ninety Days. Virgin Ore Bodies That Swell tho Aggregate Ag-gregate by S2,000,000 Only Ono in Its Class of Bonanzas. Although the local management has refrained from exploiting it, it 13 asserted as-serted by those conversant with the log that since December 1st last there has been added to the wealth of the Cen-tennlal-Eureka mines at Tlntic ores of a value exceeding $2,000,000, and that yeUthe wealth of those developments during the past ninety day9 has not been determined. Clarence E, Allen, general superintendent of the system, under whose Immediate supervision these stupendous results have been achieved, and beforo whom .the story was spread, said reluctantly that while tho presence of these ore bodies had been positively established, they have not yet been "blocked out," as in, other portions of the mine. Upon them he declined to comment further while Managing Director Hojden was at camp making nn Inventory of the new disclosures. dis-closures. While it has not developed the largest body and is yet confined to an ore-bearing artery from the main channel, chan-nel, tho work on the 1400-foot level and the raise from It, has taught a most Important Im-portant lesson on the occurrence of wealth in the property. This, however, is not included In the inventory that stacks up $2,000,000 of new ore, although the raise has never been out of ores of commercial quality, eome of It revealing reveal-ing sensational contents. The development, develop-ment, to which the story has particular reference, perhaps. Is that made 700 feet above the 1-400. where, It Is claimed by the miners that they have cut, obliquely, across the channel for about 110 feet, with no hanging wall yet in sight. Picked samples for cabinet uses from this body show a valuation of more than $200 per ton; the average will, more likely, correspond with that which characterizes the bonanza. Residents of Eureka who are inclined to reproach the management in that it has not been more liberal In exploiting Its developments develop-ments for the benefit of the entire camp, claim that an Invoice will disclose dis-close over $20,000,000 now piled up in the mine, while, In its class, the Centennial Cen-tennial Is, perhaps, without an equal on earth. While an active copper producer, it Is also contended that the Centennial Is the biggest gold mine In the State, and It may be mentioned; Incidentally, that It has some silver exposed. |
