Show I IDAHO'S NT3WSST HOTEL OPENS AT EMMET (Special to Tho Tribune.) EMMET, Ida.. Feb. 1.0. The Russel house, a new, modern, up-to-date' hostelry hos-telry on Main street, was opened up to the general public last evening. E, W. Schubert of the Idanha hotel of Boise va3 the master of ceremonies. He was assisted by a number of other hotel men who made special trips to Emmet for the occasion. A grand ball and banquet were given, which were a great social success. The new hotel contains three stories nrd Is built of brick, -10x75 in area. There will be forty guest chambers on the second and third floors. The ground floor has a fine roomy office, of-fice, equipped with all modern "conveniences, "con-veniences, Its trimmings being in quar-tr-saAvcd onk. At the rear of the of-fire of-fire are the dining-room, with a table capacity for sixty diners, while to the left of the office is a magnificent cafe and bllllard-room. The proprietor of the Russel house is George E. Little, and the hotel will be managed by W. S. Oakley, an old-time resident of Salt Lake City, Utah.' |
