Show HEAVY SNOW IN KANSAS Four Inches of the Beautiful Blankets Blank-ets the State Topeka Kan Jan 25Kansas got another heavy snowstorm today and if the indications tonight amount to anything any-thing much more snow will be on the ground by tomorrow morning At C oclock the snow lies about four inches deep on the level The snow began falling in the western west-ern portion of the State eaily this morning and rapidly traveled eastward On the Santa Fe the snow extends clear into Colorado while on the Rock Island It Is falling west of Philllpsburg The thermometer has dropped from 15 to 30 degrees The weather Is not ery severe however and no damage to stock will result unless the storm becomes be-comes much heavier Prospects for wheat have Improved 100 per cent The Top bids fair to be a record breaker |
