Show DEATH OF A VETERAN Iran C Conk Died Suddenly and and Unattended Iran C Conk an old resident of Salt Lake and a veteran of the Civil war died suddenly yesterday afternoon in his llllle room in Ihe rear oC 5S Franklin Frank-lin avenue He had been drinking and on last Friday took to his bed Mr and Mrs H rum Kimball who occupied the front part of the house cared for him giving him every possible attention Mrs Klmbnll left him at 5 oclock last evening to ito out of doors and when she returned half an hour latex he wan dead The case was reported to Coroner Coro-ner Clark but there seems to be no circumstances which cull for an Inquest In-quest The remains are at Evanss funeral parlors Conk was 51 years of age and has lived In Salt Lake for forty years doing odd jobs of work Early In life he was crippled by a threshing machine With assistance furnished by his llonln law Stephen Golding and a small pension he could have lived in comfort but for his appetite for liquor Ills father was the late John T Conk who ran the grist mill which formerly I occupied the site of Liberty park and who came to Utah with the pioneers Conk leaves three married daughters lilt one Son ID L Conk a miner at Stockton He was a brother of Mrs Alfred Best |
