Show FUNERAL OF GEO A LOWE I Simple and Beautiful Services Hejd at Congregational Church Yesterday The funeral of the late George A Lowe was held yesterday afternoon at the family residence and wits largely attended Rev Dr Clarence T Brown of the First Congregational church conducted con-ducted the service and eulogized In eloquent elo-quent terms the Christian character of Mr Lowe He also read the Twenty third Psalm Mr Lowes favorite selection selec-tion from the Bible A quartette consisting con-sisting of Mrs Helen Shearman Gue Miss Jennie Mclnlosh Carl Scheld and Harry Shearman sang Nearer My God to Thee My Faith Looks Up to Thee and Lead Kindly Light Many and exquisite were the floral tokens of sympathy from friends and business associates The employees of the George A Lowe Implement houses both In this city and Ogden attended the funeral in a body At the grave the service was very simple Dr Brown delivering a brief but beautiful prayer as the remains wore lowered into the grave The Interment In-terment was private only the relatives and Intimate friends being present The pallbearers were Messrs W S Mc Cornick C E Allen O J Salisbury George M Scott Edwin F Holmes M B Sowles and G M Forbes Tomorrow afternoon at 5 oclock a I memorial service will be held in honor of Mr Lowe at the First Congregational church It will take the place of the regular vesper service and special music mu-sic will be rendered Memorial addresses ad-dresses will be made by Rev Dr Brown and Hon Clarence E Allen |
