officers Senators Sherman Gardner and Johnson were appointed a t committee on order of business Senator Sherman presented the report which Iwas adopted It provided for the election 1 1 elec-tion of sixteen officers UNANIMOUS FOR ALLISON e When nominations for President of I the Senate were declared In order Senator I Sena-tor Love presented the name of Senator E 1 Allison of Ogden and explained that although his friends persisted in booming him for the place he maintained main-tained that he would not be a candidate If Mr Allison was Senator Ed Loose seconded the nomination and the election elec-tion was made unanimous by acclamation S acclama-tion President Allison thanked his colleagues col-leagues for the honor especially Senator Love ant promised l to preside Justly rI and impartially and In that way gain and retain the confidence of all JENSEN FOR SECRETARY Senator Larson of Sanpete nominated A W Jensen of Sanpete for secretary r of the Senate Senator Lawrence
