contest con-test in the middle of the sixteenth round For two rounds previous Ref t eree Graney had bogged Hanlons see I I onds to take their man out of the ring but they kept the game youngster young-ster at It and finally Graney fearing that a fatality might result ordered the fight stopped GOT TERRIBLE BEATING No man ever received such terrific punishment In a San Francisco ring and probably Young Corbett is the only man in the country who could nd I minister such a beating to Hanlon1 When the San Francisco boy was car I rled to his corner still conscious tunable t-unable to walk
