FIGHT FOR VINDICATION ANTICLARK HEN GET FIRST BLOOD IN MONTANA Democratic State Central Committee Rcapportions Delegates from Sv eral Counties to Stats Convention t TRIBUNE SPECIAI Butte Mont May 1Thc Slate Democratic committee met in Butte today to-day and the campaign of Senator YA Clark for vindication was Inaugurated and the Mrst round ended in a very decided de-cided defeat for the Senator The tight was made on the rcapportlonmcnt of delegates to the State conventions two of which will be held this year Clarks son and friends represented his interests ant fought hard to prevent pre-vent an Increase in the representations from his own and antiClark counties Representation from his county Silver Bow however Increased was from B9 delegates to J22 Other antiClark counties received proportionate Increase In-crease The first convention to select delegates dele-gates to Kansas City will be held in Butte June 15th and the regular State convention will bo held later In Helena i Hel-ena enaThere 1 There is no doubt that both conventions conven-tions will be anilClark under the reapportionment I re-apportionment made today
