in full force where the biennial Inspection and review of the Uniformed Rank was held After a deal of galloping about of the staff brigade and regimental officers offi-cers the Inspection formation was completed com-pleted two long lines of troops stretched from end to end of the great field the brigade and regimental olll cers grouped to the fore In their appropriate ap-propriate places he artillery and cavalry cav-alry on the left The Inspection proceeded pro-ceeded the majorgeneral and staff moving down and up the long lines their appropriate salutes by officers Knights and numerous bands of music Gen Carnahan then took station In the center of the field his army wheeled right Into company front and marched in review in that formation As the head of each brigade passed the OF KHORASSANS The grand electrical and fireworks parade of the Knights of Khdrjissan tonight which was announced as the spectacular feature of Pythian week resulted in a vast deal of confusion The police had made no arrangements for clearing the streets along the line of march The picturesquelyclad Kho rasauns were obliged to make their way around street cars and through narnny lanes opened through the crowd and many of the elaborately prepared humorous features were lost to a great majority of the spectators The crowd which jammed the downtown down-town streets was far greater than that which witnessed yesterdays parade and it was goodnatured although almost al-most entirely uncontrolled Some 2500 of the Knights of Rollicking Rollick-ing branch of the order took part In the spectacle
