revolver on Clerk Gripe demanded a ticket to get ojit of town There were several people in the room at the time but all were too scared to Interfere Gripe attempted to reach the police call but the follow kept him covered with the gun telling him that If ho raised an arm ho would shoot his head off One of the mon darted out of the door and as he did this the fellow look fright and went out the front door through the Ogden house and made his escape the back way According to Gripes sttfry the fellow desired to go out with a gang of laboring men that Crlpo was shipping cast The clerk told him that ho would send him out but that as they wont out In gangs of twelve on ft commutation ticket ho would havo to wait until the full quota was secured The follow left but came back in time evening
