Show THEY DEMUR. Both Billy Griffin and Kose MIHer Have a Grievance. Billy Griffin, the young man who had the lively experience with Rose Miller Wednesday, Wednes-day, deprecates the publication of the facts in yesterday's Times, but says the report is erroneous in-sc-far as he has had trouble with Miss Miller or Kittle Hicks. With the former he has had no financial transactions and bis connection with the latter only involved in-volved the voluntary fctving, on his part of mining property in the Deep Creek country. Miss Miller also has a grievance and declares de-clares that Its publication was Instigated by an ex-police officer. In this she is mistaken, for her little episode with Griffin was a subject sub-ject for the liveliest discussion in the haunts of men about town for a day or more. She further says that Griffin has proven himself a friend and that he always has money. |
