In the divorce division of the hgh court of justice, Just.ce Juno granted an order restraining Captain Arm. strong, who has petitioned the court for a divorce from his wife, Madame Melba, the well-known singer, naming the, Duke of Orleans Or-leans as co-respondent, from proceeding before u Vienna tribunal, and from examining examin-ing the servants in the Vic lint hotel, at which, as well as at other points, it is alleged al-leged that the respondent and co-respondent lived for a time as man and wife. The usual number of scandalous incidents are related in connection witi the case. Madame Metha claims that her relations with the duke were perfec tly pure and platonic. She charge that her husband treated her in a cruel mantle, but Captain Armstrong denies it in tlie most emphatic manner. |
