Show REMARKABLE PHEN0MEN0N. A Woman Fatally Struck by Lightning From a Clear Sky. Columbus, O., Aug. 7. A remarkable remarka-ble thing happened here at 11 o'clock yesterday. At that time, though there were a fow clouds in the sky, the sun was shining and the heat was simply terrible. All at once from a clear sky a terriblo flash of lightning was seen and a loud clap of thunder heard, though not a drop of rain fell. Mrs. Margaret Bruelllng of tho West Side was sitting outdoors in the shade of the house writing a letter, the ink and paper being on a soap box. Neighbors Neigh-bors sav that just as the thunder was heard Airs. Bruelling was seen to fall to the ground as if shot and they ran and picked her up and carried her into the house. Medical aid was summonedira- mediately. Not a mark was seen on the woman, but she is now lying unconscious uncon-scious and at the point of death. The doctors say she will not live until daylight. day-light. The unfortunate lady's son, a lad 14 years old, was near his mother when she fell anil was shocked himself.
