In Philadelphia very little inquiry in-quiry is met with. In the New York market also buyers aro not inclined to stock up. The prevailing disposition disposi-tion all round seems to be to w ait developments. de-velopments. Eastern operators appear to bo work in g very cautiously in the interior. A Philadelphia dispatch says that "many eastern buyers who were iu the west have returned, as the growers grow-ers were holding their wool at higher prices than tho manufacturers have to pay for the same grades of foreign wool." In Texas and California something some-thing has been dono by the agents of tho eastern manufacturers. In Ohio yo cents seems to be the basis for rlno wool. |
