JTelfer conducted the affair and under his wise management it could not be otherwise than n success. The Times' correspondent called upon Dr. La Compe and found out the following facts regarding the death of Miss Xora V. Judge, who had been subject sub-ject to spasms. She was found iu her room unconscious on Monday morning at 7 o'clock. Dr.. La Compe was called in and soon had her restored to consciousness. A little later iu the day she was attacked at-tacked again and Dr. La Compe, with the assistance of Dr. (iregor, succeeded iu bringing her out. The third attack came on late in the evening and resulted re-sulted in death. The rumor of Dr. La Compe giving the lady an overdose of morphine has no foundation. The time of the funeral has not been fixed, owing to the absence of Mrs. Judge who is on her way home from Bellevue, Idaho, where 'she has been visiting.
