Show Farm Labor Needed i An Associated Press dispatch from Montogmery, Ala., quotes Mayor Guntcr of that city in a statement regarding unemployment which requires no comment. The statement was .issued after a check of the city and surrounding counties coun-ties showed unemployment to be increasing at a time when farmers were seeking wor?rs. Mayor Guntcr Gun-tcr said: "While Montgomery, cooperating with the Federal government has been one of the leading cities in furnishing WPA work, it is evident it can't go pn forever. "Farmers are looking for workers work-ers and many cotton fields are groaning for attention, yet we find hundreds of workers idle here in the city and they refuse to go out and get this work while it is sea sonable. "I know the work is out there in the farming sections. I'm a farmer myself and I know the conditions. Those who have been on . relief should bear in mind that those who are worthy of help are those who make a sincere effort to help them-themselvea." them-themselvea."
