Show the american mining congress the thirteenth annual convention of the american mining congress has been called to convene at los angeles california september 26 27 28 29 and 30 and october 1 1910 purpose of the convention the purpose of this session is to bring the representatives of the mining industries of america into conference for the public discussion of national and international questions which concern we the welfare and progress of mining and allied industries the convention the los angeles convention will be composed of the regular members af pf the american mining congress the accredited delegates appointed by the respective appointing authorities invited guests and speakers delegates all of the states and territories have substantial mining interests and all sections of the country are interested in the welfare of the mining industries the questions to be discussed are of national importance it is the policy of the american mining congress in the deliberations at its annual conventions vent ions to accord representation to every mining community and liberal provision is made for the appointment of delegates to the thirteenth annual session as follows the president may appoint ten delegates at large governors of states and territories may each appoint ten delegates mayors of cities and towns two delegates each board of county commissioners two delegates each board of county supervisors two delegates each boards of trades two delegates each chamber of commerce two delegates each mining bureaus and exchanges two delegates each mining organizations two delegates each scientific societies two delegates each engineers associations two delegates each state mining schools two delegates each the early appointment of delegates is not only invited but respectfully urged the name and post postoffice office address of each delegate appointed should be forwarded to the secretary american mining congress denver colorado promptly this
