Brido-To-Be Feted A clever pirate ldua was used in planning entertainment at a stocking shower given for a popular popu-lar September bride-elect, Miss Beatrice Spendlove, Wednesday evening by Miss Helen Johnson. Guests were received at th door by Miss Darlenu Johnson, who wore a pirate costume, and each given a pirate's name. The honor hon-or guest was required to find her gifts, finally discovered in Davey Jones' locker, by employing employ-ing treasure hunt clues. Pirate Reverend Crymer Given Farewell Party Young members of the M. E. Community church gave a farewell fare-well party Wednesday evening for Reverend Wayne Clymer, who Is leaving Sunday for his home In Akron, Ohio, and after a vacation va-cation in Virginia is to return to Asbury College, Kentucky, for his final year in school.
