COUNTY ASSESSOR IS HIGHLY COMPLIMENTED As county assessor of Salt Lake county, Arthur J- Skidmore has a heavy responsibility which requires re-quires not only a keen knowledge of the requirements of his position, posi-tion, but calls ifor tact, under, standing and balanced Judgment. Because he displays all of these attributes so consistently and has an enviable record for fairness. we are glad to pay him thia riign tribute. Mr. Skidmore has acquired a remarkable knowledge of all the details of the assessor's office, and, as a consequence, he has been able to organize his staff of deputies in a way to give utmost ut-most service to the public as well as to make the assessment rolls each year so that they reflect re-flect the true and equitable property pro-perty appraisals. It Is a Job which few men could handle so well and so satifactorlly. County Asessor Skidmore deserves de-serves great credit also because of his many community services outside the actual duties Imposed upon him by his office. He has shown active interest and has aided matrially on Innumerable occasions when the help of ev- ery leader was needed. He is a ! real asset to this county and a man of whom we all may be proud 1 to have as one of our public servants. ser-vants. r |
