SALOON MANS TROUBLE Charged With Resisting Officer er but Pleads Good Intent Thinking that he was helping a friend Albert Swain proprietor of the Ocean bar baron baron baron on South State street streets last night unwittingly Unwittingly tingly so sq he protests committed an act that led to his arrest and he is now confronted with a charge of pf resisting an officer The Th case tase arose out of ot a fight Ight In which one Harty Harry Larson was Involved While the fight was in progress Officers Ripley GoldIng and Wilson happened along and separated the men As RIpley was lead leading le leading d dIng ing Larson away Swain who wh protests that he did not know that Ripley is an officer attempted attempt d to free Larson under the impression that Ripley was a friend of the other man and meant to continue the tha fight Larson was taken to the city Jail and later Swain was arrested under the charge of ot resisting an officer He promptly gave the required bail ball of 25 and was released
