When Then the gates gatas Closed Friday night the best previous record rec rd of attendance had been equaled and the people who passed through the gates yesterday represent the Increase of attendance over last year All of ot the exhibits were kept in intact Intact intact tact during the day tIa and not even any of or the livestock was removed from the stalls until It was vas as too dark to see them To Salt Lake City alone is due du duthe the increased attendance of the fair of 1903 1908 Weber county day Utah county day and Davis and Sanpete county day attracted little attention from the people of those localities It was the people e of Salt Lake who supported the t e fair as far tar as attendance was con concerned concerned concerned and who made It the financial success which It has been Special Race Program The Th special race program arranged for tor yesterday afternoon drew most of the daylight crowd The stands were filled to overflowing and the free at attractions attractions
