The weather having moderated, people are fueling a trifle more ambitious. The three stamp mill situated at the lower part of Leeds ble.v ita first whistle yesterday, and it is reported that everything goes as "merry as a marriage bell," the mill having capacity ca-pacity lor turning out ten tons of ore every twenty-lour hours. Many mines are now being worked that have been lying comparatively idle all summer. The owners of the Slormont, K. T. Smith & Co., have recently re-cently put thirty-five men at work with pick and drill. Ai. Grant has charge of the Dulfin, and with a good force of bunds is clearing uway the debris left by ciilonders, preparatory to working the miuo extensively. The lfuuter & Goea custom mill is said to be a perlect success, and the leaching apparatus of Messrs. 'iischer k Harris still works to perfection. The disputed tittle of the Finkham i Dodge mine baa been amicably settled. The LeedB company's mill still works merrily away, and it is said that no mill in Utah or Nevada ever paid as larije a divideud ae ibis one. Liny fruits and vegetables of alt kinds have appeared in market, and ye.neiday grapes and tomatoes in aliundauce were exposed for Bale. Building go up slowly, but lumber men are accumulating lumber for winter Bale. The Silver Reef Echo, wtiose sojourn upon this earth was so short, will likely be resuscitated.
