Show Ben. DeBar died of brain disease; but what produced the brain disease? The doctora bring in theirready made answer ''overwork." It is always eaay to aay this; it is a sort of rebuke-mi rebuke-mi compliment. But wedoubtif Mr. DeBar'a overwork had anything to do with hia brain disease. Several years ago Mr. DeBar, finding his hair turning turn-ing gray, resorted lo the use of a powerful mixture to restore it to its original color. A preparation of lead 1 was one of tbe atrongeat ingredientain the composition. He was warned at the time that tbe Bluff, if used for any length of time, would be apt to aflct his brain, but he gave no heed to the warning, and continued tbe use of the restorative. It is quite probable that if '.be brain had been closely examined exam-ined during the autopsy, traces of Ibe poisons used in the manufacture of the hair dye would have been found.
