Ex-Congres3man Long, colored, of Georgia, expresses himself as fully satisfied that the president's southern policy is needed to bring about good feeling among all southern people without regard to politics or color. In Georgia, he says, the colored people have no cause of complaint. The fseling between the two races is friendly and all fire secured in their rights, and he spoke f the liberality of the state in providing pro-viding educational means for colered as well as white people. In his own city (Macon) whites and blacks unite in selecting the bc3t men to otiice without rfgard to politics. |
