Show Police Court. That thieving expert, who giveB hiB name as Delaney Schinga, arrested on Monday night, was up before Judge Pyper yesterday. This fellow was tried on lour separate charges, and on three of them he was fined $50 each, and $25 on the fourth $175 while bo is still awaiting hearings on other charges. The prospects are that Mr. Delaney will be allowed plenty of time in whioh to become acquainted with the interior of the oity baatile, and will no doubt develop into an expert ex-pert in picking and Bboveling, and will render valuable service in beautifying beauti-fying the oity. It is thus that we encourage free-minded and liberal gentlemen. James King was permitted to hand over $10 on a plain drunk. "Curly" Dix was bound over in $200 to await the action of the grand jury. Fanny Fullreide waa not brought before the court yesterday, and it is not known what course will be pursued pur-sued with regard to her. Not only has she become a confirmed inebriate, but she has also developed into a public nuisance. She certainly is no longer capable of caring for herself, and it would seem that the best thing that could be done with her would be to keep ber in the asylum. |
