Show Another Border Ruffian Lo Refilled. Re-filled. L'Jiturs IPrald: I wish to contradict a statement niaile in this morning's 'lril'imc concerning con-cerning Mrs. John Dale and familv. It is true that Mr. John Dale deserted his family nearly two years since, and during that time the latter have depended de-pended on their own resources for support. Elizabeth, the eldest daughter, daugh-ter, is now past twenty years of age, and at this time is very sick probably proba-bly the result of too close sitting and working at the sewing machine. The family are not in want of the necessaries neces-saries of life; neither are they depending depend-ing on their neighbors for assistance. Mrs. Dale is a laundress, and caniB a comfortable living for herself and family. Of course she has to work hard to do so, hut up to tho present has been able to pay her way; and has not applied to the Mormon teachers teach-ers for assistance. The neighbors have been kind in taking .littlo dainties, dain-ties, voluntarily, to the sick girl, which is Uio privilege oi sick persons. I have been living in the next house to Mrs. Dale for over four months, and can vouch tLat these are facts. Eliza . Bowetso, Seventh Waid. |
