Show Cricket Match. j The Salt Lake eleven went up to Wellsville on the excursion train on Thursday to play a game of cricket with the Wellsville Club. At -:30 p.m. the stumps wero pitched. The Salt Lake boys won the toss and sent Wellsville to the bat; by dark the inning3 was ended; result, Go runs. Next morning the game waa resumed, with Salt Lake at the bat, who scored 74 runs. There waa not time to play the game out, as the umpires had agreed to draw the stumps at 1 p. m. in order tn return in time to the train. We heard the batting, bowling and fielding of l'arker, Jessup and Col-burn Col-burn of Wellsville, and Gushing, Day and Wilt'n of Salt Lake spoken of in the highest terms of praise. The boys were well treated and enjoyed themselves them-selves hugely. A return game will be played in this city during Con fer-ence. fer-ence.
