Show i PERSONAL. J'T.-, .T. Johnstone, Esq., rfrcnueci, nrrived in this city from California on Fridny nnd anticipates returning this afternoon. He has had an agreeable, though brief Rtay witL uo. Mr. J. S. M. Wessels and wife, of Sndy were registered at the Town-send Town-send last night. Mr. W. 8. Walker returned from a crusade on the fish at Provo Valley and Parley's Park, last evening. Mrs. W. accompanies him. Our neighbor, C. R. Barratt, aud Mr. McBae, propose to bend tho Sabbath slightly to-day. They are going to Parley s Park, but remembering remem-bering the old caution about fishing on Sunday, they will not cast a line. Mining pleasure; it would be business busi-ness ou any other day of the week is what takes them hence. |
