Among the resolutions re-solutions adopted in the Republican Stale Convention this morning is the following: - - AV.,y.r--V, That it is duty and sound policy to nominate and support for office none but men known bv their honesty and capacity; and that men who are unmindful " of the interests in-terests of the State and whose rrconle are a reproach to the party, shall not be permitted to force themselves upon us in any capacity, under any pretense whatever. The resolutions endorse tho State administration lor pursuing a right course while contending con-tending against the organized system of villifieation ami mis representation at home and abroad; denounce the attempt to bring about a conflict of races, and pledge the part v to give a fair election and reduce the expenditure;. expen-diture;.
