Thiae Keutlemen will leave this morning for the cast, and will travel from Ogdeu in Mr. Clark's private car. Mr. II. Stennntt, E;q., fftcnernl Passenger Agent of the Chicago & Northwestern railroad, arrived on Saturday Sat-urday nijjht, and is 'stopping at the Walker House. He leaves for the west this afternoon, Mr. Hoi ton, of the firm of Semplo, Birge &. Co., St. Lo'iis, arrived on Sunday Sun-day night.and will remain a few days. He is a gentleman whom it is a pleasure pleas-ure to know, and we commend him to tbe courtesies of our business men. Mr. Cunninerham, of the Townsend ( House, goes eikit this morning for a . couple of weeks. Ho will travel with , Mr. Clark and company in that gentleman's gen-tleman's car. i Hon. S. Samuel, Post-master Gen-' Gen-' oral of New South Wales, and a dis-1 dis-1 tinguished party, visited Salt Lake on their way east, and occupied rooms at the Townsend during their stay. Mr. I. C. Bateman and wife are at the Townsend House.having retnrued from tbeir wedding tour to Europe. They will remain in the city for a few days. |
