Mr. Nims is a young lawyer of great ability, and is sent here in company with Mr. Nichols and Mr. StylcBof St. Joe. Michigan, by Jas. F. Foy and A. H. Morrison to look after somo vary fine mining and railroad properties. It is a curious but commendable com-mendable fact that Michigan tho home and residence of district attorney Bates has invested moro money in Utah, this summer than any other State in the Union. Over a half a million of cash invc3tments from the Peninsula State havo been brought hero since May last, and our people may look for a much larger ono ero long. |
