Show Theatre. "Tho Streets of New York" was capitally played last night. M-i. Bates' interpretaJ,iou of Badger was natural, full of vim whoa required, and an abandon in complete harmony with tho author's work. The other prominent changes in tho cast since the pieoe was last presented, were Mr. Dudley as Bloodgooi and Miss Jones as Lucy, and bolh played well, the young lady enaoting the part of Luoy with much discrimination and ability. To-night "Richard III" will be performed, per-formed, with Mr. Bates in the title role, Miss Walters as Queen Elizabeth, and Mr. MoKeozie as Richmond, supported sup-ported by a full cast, Tho great tragedy is being presented with a Htrnncr nomhination of talent, and should draw a crowded houso. On Monday there will bo an "Aladdin" "Alad-din" matinee, for the Sunday school childron coming from Utah 30unty, for whioh scats in the dross circlo can be obtained; and on Monday night tho great sensation of "East and West" will be produced- |
