Show La uar IEaiuuoir. 1 j During the showers of Sunday evening, a' very distinct lunar : rainbow appcaral over the hills, just j north of Camp Douglas. The sight ; was as rare as it was beautiful, since ! many people may be found who have never seen a rainbow by moonlight. In a lunar bow the colors arc usually faint, it sometimes being wholly white, and two bows are never seen, ; as is so frequently tho case' by sun-j sun-j light. Sunday night the bow remained 1 visible while the moon was almost ' hidden by clouds, and the two formed 1 a most charming feature. |
