Show Sunday School Party. On Wed-1 nosday afternoon two hundred and seventy-five children and teachers of j the 12th Ward Sunday school, met in the spacious new hall of the ward, and had a most delightful season together in dancing, diversified with speeches from Bishop L: W. Hardy and Mr. George Goddard, and singing by the hildrcn. The little ones were treotcd to a collation of pies, cakes, candy, raisins, crackers, and other good things, in the distribution of which Mr. Thos. V. Williams, of . C. M, I. was energetic ener-getic and efficient. Tho party broke up at 0 p.m., and was followed by one for the adults, to aid in defraying the expenses of that for the juveniles. The committees and musicians arc entitled to much crcditfur tho mapner fn which the parties were conducted and the excellent ex-cellent music. |
