Show Mining Matters in Ooden. By 'he Junction of Weduesday, we notice that a new mining company was organized or-ganized in Ogden on Monday last, called tho "Morning Star," of which W. R. Reynolds, E-q , was chosen President, and William Gilbert, Esq., Secretary and Treasurer. Mesrrs. 11. Southard, Reynolds & Horrocks were appointed a committee to direct tht working of the mine. A party of gentlemen interested in mining matters made a visit on Mon day to the Leopard mine, in Ogden canon, and felt abundantly repaid for their trouble. They expressed themselves them-selves quite emhusiastical y respecting the "Leopard," "considering it, with out exception, the most extensive lean they had seen in the mountains. ': They followed it for about six hundred yards, and brought away wiih them some fine specimens of the ore. |
