Show St. Louis Party. There is a pleasant pleas-ant party of ladies and gentlemen from St. Louis and Alton stopping at the Townsend House, some of whom we met last night. Their names are George Partridge and wife, Mrs. Clara A. Spencer, W. H. Smith, James Smith and wife, Mrs. Seaman, Mr. Ridgley and wife, E. Y. Ware, secretary of the St. Louis Susar Refining Re-fining works, Mrs. Billings and daughter daugh-ter and Mrs. Quigley and son of Alton, Dljnojs. Mr. Patridge is a gentleman who has traveled extensively, and has lectured frequently on the Holy Land. With his lady, Mrs. Spencer and Mr. W. H. Smith, he is now making his second trip around the world by way of China. Tho party remain in town till the beginning of nest week. |
