A correspondent telegrapln from Paris last evening, that on Tuesday night tho police authorities au-thorities of the Hotel de Ville. with a guard of frane-tireurs, de.-cended upon Peter's American restaurant, on the boulevard, and arrested a hundred and fifty men and women who were there supping luxuriously. The offense was that of extravagance not in keeping with the times. Among those arrpsted were several superior officers of the Commune, whom it has been determined deter-mined to punish for neglect of duty tor pleasure. The statement that a civil commis sary is to accompany each army of the Commune is contirojed. This is for the purpose of preventing a military dictatorship.
