It will be seen by this table that the popularity of the Singer machines far exceeds that ot all others, their sale being one-half greater than even that of the famous "Wheeler & Wilson machine. This is owing to the fact that the Singer Company have lately commenced making, besides their old and well-established manufacturing machine, whatiskaown as their "New Family Machine," which is selling at the rate of nine to one better than their old style. Their total sales for ISt'ej" were SS.7S1 machines against the 127, S33 of 1S70, showing an increase of cue-half in the latter year. |
