Show ANOTHER ON MONSON Horse and Cart Stolen By the Young Criminal Farmington Jan 26There seems to be no end of criminal charges that are being lodged against young Warren Ionson who is in jail here Sheriff Abbott has been getting one confession after another from him for several days and yesterday Monson was taken to Salt Lake to assist in locating some of the stolen property he had disposed of there The officers succeeded in tracing a horse and cart which he had stolen from Ogden to where he had disposed dis-posed of it to a Salt Lake man When he was making this sale he represented himself as being a son of the bishop of Farmington and thus disarmed suspicion The theft of a pair of shoes a 30 overcoat and a watch and chain was also traced to him I Sheriff Belnap of Weber county is anxious to take Monson to Ogden for trial but the Davis county officials will demand that he Is first arraigned upon the charge for which he was arrested here that of stealing a horse and cart at Woods Cross His trial for this offense of-fense was to have been held today but the adjournment of this branch of the district court will delay matters a month unless a special session Is held i Monson Is pronounced b the officers who have come In contact with him to i be an unusually clever criminal for one of his age cever i |
