Show 1to The Tribune continues to complain of County Clerk Dunbjars neglect of duty I because he Is opposed to Mr Pratt as I chief of police A little investigation on the part of the Tribune would demonstrate j dem-onstrate that a great many other officials of-ficials Republicans as well as Demo I crats are opposed to Mr Pratt Mr i 1 I Dunbars official duties seem to be well looked after but If it were necessary I neces-sary the taxpayers would be perfectly t willing for the county court to grant Mr Dunbar a few days leave of absence j ence under full pay to devote his attention j at-tention to the Pratt matter The I trouble with the Tribune is that it attaches at-taches entirely too much importance to Mr Pratt It is not necessary for Mr I Dunbar or any other citizen to waste much time looking after Mr Pratts I caSe the opposition to him is so general gen-eral that the members of the city coun elI can take judicial knowledge of the fact that the people do not want him I I for chief of police I |
