decorated dec-orated with evergreens ropes of holly being twined about the orchestra stand while on the west wall appeared in large evergreen letters the mystic characters I char-acters SOOB The fashionable world of Ogden with a goodly number from Salt Lake and other nearby places was in attendance 1 1 The orchestra was augmented for the I occasion refreshments were served by skilled caterers and everything was arranged for a thoroughly enjoyable hop To describe the many beautiful costumes would be as impossible as to I suggest the grace with which they were worn The proceeds which must have been considerable go to aiding the poor and will be expended under the direction of the S O O B members who are as follows Misses Ella Conroy Jessie Bigelow Hannah Dee Silvia Dee Nettie given Wednesday evening in Thomas hall by the pupils and friends of Miss Ada Barratt that lady having charge I of the affair The audience was quite I laige and very enthusiastic greeting Miss Barratt birth day of May the little daughter of Dr and Mrs P A Cook a number of her friends were invited to a party in honor of the occasion There were a number of games played and some of the children recited and sang very nice ly After a spirited dancing of Sally Waters as a grand finale the little folks sat down to their tea to which I they did ample justice There were numerous and very dainty capital city for a few days 000 Miss Nellie Healy gave a charming party Tuesday evening to a number of her friends The rooms were decorated with cut flowers and holly The game of the evening was the
