REGARDING THE IOWA H P Mason Reports on This New Park Valley Property Manager H P Mason ha just returned re-turned from the Iowa property in the Park valley district bringing with him some good looking specimens of oreS ore-S picked samoles of which Give returns S of S5 a ton in gold silver and lead S Mr Mason has been at the mine for the past month and speaks in glowing terms of the prospects for the Iowa In particular and the district as a whole The Iowa company which was incorporated in-corporated some two months ago is developing its property through a I tunnel and shaft The latter is being i funk on the vein and is going down at the rate of three feet a day The tunnel tun-nel was in a distance of seventy feet hen Mr Mason left and he estimates that 100 feet more will have to be run to cut the vein which shows twenty inches of mineralbearing quartz in the I I bottom of the tunnel The Iowa company com-pany is now expending about S400 a mont In developments and Mr Mason I is to Impressed with the showing which is being made that he proposes to give the property his personal attention for some time to come He will return to I the mine Tuesday next I In speaking of the district in general 2Jr Mason says it is a pity that more Interest is not shown in the opportunities opportuni-ties there afforded for the legitimate investment in-vestment of capital In his opinion no district in Utah has a surface showing anywhere comparable with that of Park Valley and in no other district can mines be developed at a little expense Dense I the Park Valley district wa Isolated and inaccessible said Mr Mason there would b a stampede in that direction
