OCR Text	Show DEVOURED BY HOGS A Sow Seizes Upon a Boy as He Is Chasing a Young Pig lie Is Torn to Pieces and Dies Soon After Being Kescned Dlstreslenc Runaway Acciv dent at a Funeral I NDIANAPOLIS Oct 5A special to the Sentinel from Vincennes Ind says A son of Robert Kirk aged six years was yesterday yes-terday almost devoured by hogs He had accompanied his brother into the yard to feed the stock and while the elder brother wont to the barn the youngster tried to catch a pig The mother of the pig leaped at him and fastened her tusks in the back of his neck dragging him to the ground Presently several hogs out of the drove rushed at the child and began to devour him The brutes tore his clothing into shreds and all the flesh from his cheeks arms and legs lacerating his left side in a horrible manner He died an hour after his rescue
