Show Colorado Passenger Association DENVER Oct 5Special telegram to THE HERALD When the Colorado Passenger senger association meets tomorrow the first thing to come up will probably be the consideration of some vivid correspondence between Secretary Heintz of the associa ion and S H Hooper of the Rio Grande in relation to a Midland rate made to Grand Junction The rate was made it is claimed without the unanimous consent of the association Mr Heintz wrote Mr Hooper a letter which the former did not like and some frey letters followed Mr Hooper says Heintz has no right to write such letters and the latter retorts that he is ready t resign his secretaryship whenever the association so says Hooper claIms that Mr Heintz who Is also chief clerk to Colonel George Ady of nee Union Pacific has been using his position in the latters office in ecs crMo with his secretaryship In I way that Is wrong In other words Mr Hointz protested ested against the Midland in a way that Colonel Hooper thought was due to the Union Pacific influences |
