Show THE 31EEAUS TRAGEDY Xo New Developments As Yet but Some in Prospective The Meears tragedy of Saturday morning morn-ing last is still fresh in the minds of the public There are those who have con eiderable to say about that awful i curse and some narrowminded bigots have seen fit to criticize members of the family on the conduct of the funeral services I ser-vices A close relative of the deceased I said yesterday The funeral services I were most satisfactory to the family and all the relatives so there is no good reason rea-son why anyone else should complain I The relatives and dear friends of the deceased de-ceased are so numerous that they represent repre-sent all shades of political and religious belief and they were more than pleased at the attention shown and sympathy given They are grateful beyond expression for the many kindnesses shown and only hope to be able to at least make an attempt to repay all whose better natures were uppermost r on that day What do you suppose the deceased meant by leaving the paper which has been criticized by some in which he invoked in-voked the curse of God upon anyone who should deprive his wife and children of one cent that rightfully belonged to themThat That is a question that cannot now be answered It may beI do not say it 1 willyet be found that there was a very I good rerson for it The family paid little I attention to it at first looking upon the paper as being in the nature of a hurriedly hur-riedly constructed will than otherwise Then a will has not been found CoNo His private papers however are numerous and it may be that a close examination will lay bare some important impor-tant facts that aw as yet concealed both from the family and the public So far I as 1 am personally concerned anything of public interest tending to the commission commis-sion of the deed will be cheerfully given to the public |
