Show IDAHO DEMOCRATS Their state Central Committee Meet in Executive Session Resolutions Adopted Calling on tho People Peo-ple to Petition tho Government to Call an Extra Session of the Legislature Moscow Ida March 27Specialj The Democratic state central committee met in executive session today and tonight to-night The following resolutions were adopted Resolved That primary elections be and they are hereby called to be held at the several voting precincts of the counties coun-ties of Canyon Bannock Fremont and Bingham on Saturday June 3 1893 to elect delegates to a county convention conven-tion to be held at several county seats of said counties on Saturday June 10 1893 for the purpose of electing county central committees and members of the state central committee for said counties and perfecting Democratic Demo-cratic organization therein Whereas The legislature failed to pass an apportionment bill at its recent cession thereby leaving the voters of the newly created counties of Canyon Bannock and Fremont together with the five thousand Mormon voters of the state recently enfranchised en-franchised without representation therefore there-fore be it Resolved that the voters of the state irrespective of party affiliation affili-ation are hereby requested t petition pe-tition the governor to call the legislature lature together in a special session for the purpose of enacting a just and equitable equit-able apportionment bill therein giving representation to all the voters of Idaho Resolved by the Democratic State Central Cen-tral committee of Idaho that we are in I favor of the admission of the territories of i Utah Arizona and New Mexico as states of the American union The committee unanimously decided not to endorse any candidates as a committee com-mittee Nineteen of the committee were present and were unanimous in all resolutions reso-lutions |
